Project Overview

My main interests are food safety and the study of endocrine disruptors chemicals such as BPA on human health. The title for my dissertation project is ‘Analysis of the effects of environmental levels of Bisphenol A on miRNA expression in the developing zebrafish embryo’. The aim of my project is to analyse microRNA sequencing data for comparison with phenotype and behavioural endpoints and compare it with exposure to another xenoestrogen 17-α-ethinylestradiol (EE2).
