Project Overview

My final year project involves investigating the effects of microplastics in the soil on the avoidance behaviour of the earthworm Lumbricus terrestris. Analysing the impacts of plastic pollution on soil organisms and subsequently the ecosystems involved is important to better understand the threat it poses to humans in the incoming years.
