Project Overview

I am currently working on my final year project on how microplastic exposure can influence the behaviour of earthworms, and more specifically, predatory avoidance. Current studies show that microplastics can significantly cause weight loss and intestinal damage, but the effect this has on their behaviour traits is unknown. This research is important for understanding the adverse effects of plastic in soils and helping develop legislation to protect finite healthy soil.
